I suck at blogging...

Wow. I cannot believe that it has taken me this long to post again. I totally suck. I should be doing like, a million other things but since the house is finally relatively quiet and I don't feel like I'm going to die or fall asleep any second, now is as good a time as any to write a few lines and post a few pictures.:-)

So first of all, I went to my 10 year high school reunion and had a blast! Shawn and I drove down to Gallipolis and spent the day with one of my favorite girls, Amber, after of course eating way too much at Lorobi's. (LOVE their breadsticks...could seriously contemplate driving 3 hours there and 3 hours back just to eat them...:-p) Then we drove past all of my old hangouts while Shawn was forced to listen to every story that popped into my head about whatever place we just saw. Poor guy. Then I also got to see Amber's girls in person as opposed to just on her blog. Though I swear it seemed like they should know me since I've been watching them grow up since they were born by checking Amber's blog all the time. :-) Then we were off to the reunion where I got to see a bunch of people from high school including my two bestest friends from school, Jessica and Brooke. Yay! And surprisingly enough, we fell right back into that comfortable conversation that you have with people you've known forever. I love those girls and forgot how much I had missed them. Honestly, we don't look that far from what we did then. I have been trying to find a pic that is a replica of the one we took, but haven't located one yet...though I'm sure it exists. I will repost when I do, but for now, here we are:

Love it.:-) Anyways, a few days later, Shawn and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary. I can't believe it's been that long! Love you babe.:-)

Then, on the 30th of May we finally got to have Jarrin's birthday party to celebrate his 9th birthday. We went to the local bowling alley and I think all in all everyone had a good time.

And he had a kick butt cake if I do say so myself....I am actually trying to break into making cakes on the side for some extra cash if anyone knows anyone who needs a specialty cake. I'm willing to try anything once!:-) I actually have my first paying gig already! YAY! Hopefully I don't screw it up! LOL. Just kidding...anyway...back to Jarrin's cake:

Then, the following weekend, we headed to Lakeside, Ohio for annual conference and I took Kayla with me. It was her first trip there and she seemed to really love it. Which I loved because I love Lakeside. My last day there I snapped a few shots before I headed home and the kids stayed up there for a few more days.

The above one is probably my favorite, but how can you not love the picture below?:-) Sometime I could swear somehow that they really are blood related...they look so much alike...

And of course, had to goof off a little too.:-)

Even Kayla's boyfriend, Jimmy, came up for a few days:

All in all, I think everyone enjoyed the time away. I even took a day off work to enjoy a little more time at the lake in the peace and quiet. It was wonderful.

On baby related news, a lot has changed since I last posted. Baby has gone from a lime to a plum, then to a peach then a lemon, then a naval orange and this past week an avocado. Starting tomorrow, baby will be an onion so that's what I decided to post this time:

I can't believe baby is getting so big! Almost half a foot already and actually, probably closer to a foot since they only measure head to rump at this stage in the game. Although, with Shawn's and my genes, maybe the legs won't add that much more! LOL! Anyway, last doctor's appointment everything looked good and actually at about 14 and 1/2 weeks the doctor said it felt more like 16 weeks so growth is good right now. I still haven't managed to gain any weight, it's just all redistributing. I have been in maternity clothes now for like a month which cracks me up since I rarely wore any maternity clothes with Jarrin. Now I'm just counting the days till my next doctor's appointment in which we will be getting our second ultrasound and will hopefully *fingers crossed* be able to find out then the answer to the big boy or girl question.

Well, enough for now since this has become a book, but I will definitely post ultrasound pics when we get them and hopefully will be announcing if Baby Briley is a boy or a girl! Don't forget to vote before the 7th!:-)
